Azarmandi, Mahdis. 2018. Peace Review, 30, no. 1: 69-77.

This text investigates how institutional structures of power that enable the outbreak of war and violence are inextricably tied to a plethora of social issues including colonialism, sexism, racism, and ableism. The article, thus, asserts that peacebuilding efforts should focus at directly addressing these systemic challenges which ultimately stem from the same underlying institutions and practices.
