Mainly drawing upon Kubrick’s ‘Paths of Glory’ and ‘Dr. Strangelove,’ the article attempts to debunk Kubrick’s complex moral vision, and his strategic cinematic choices that stimulate audience self reflection on the banality of evil, as well as questioning the role of politicians in conflict.
