Care as Everyday Peacebuilding

This article investigates the notion of care as a power relation, with the embodiment of acts of care serving as a form of mundane conflict management. Such acts of care are cumulative and enable activities and social relations which facilitate the process of peacebuilding in fragile, post-conflict areas. The text examines instances of everyday peacebuilding through acts of care in various conflict zones ranging from Northern Ireland to Kashmir.
