This academic article argues for an examination into the “intersectionality” of peace as a means of better understanding the dynamics of power structures and identities with regards to peacebuilding efforts. The text also highlights the need to disrupt hegemonic binaries and identify structural inequalities, an interesting connection to the notion of indirect violence of Johan Galtung.
